Riding therapy program gives Oklahoma kids chance for joy
EquiSpirit group in Jay partners weekly with Northeastern oklahoma A&M

And rightly so.

The equine therapy program for disabled children has benefited both her sons, Braden, 14, and Gavin, 12.

"Nurses, we kind of tend to think, ‘That’s kind of crazy. That’s not going to do anything,’” said Clary, a registered nurse. "But I’m a full-on believer now. It’s just been amazing.”

Success stories like hers are the reason Northeastern A&M Oklahoma College partnered with the Jay-based EquiSpirit to bring the program to Ottawa County this spring, said Tim Faltyn, the college’s vice president of academic affairs.
