Norman forum aims at addiction

NORMAN — Addiction among senior citizens will be discussed at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Norman Regional Hospital Education Center, 901 N Porter Ave. Tiffany Couch and Janice Wilson of Norman Addiction Information and Counseling are scheduled presenters.

According to a Norman Regional Hospital news release, up to 25 percent of people age 65 and older misuse alcohol, prescriptions or other drugs, and seniors have become the fastest-growing group of gamblers.
