The Deer Creek School Board will vote Monday night on its agreement with the Compliance Resource Group Inc. for drug and alcohol testing services.

The board meets at 6 p.m. in the Deer Creek High School cafeteria, 6101 NW 206.

The board earlier this summer adopted a new random drug testing policy for all students involved in extracurricular activities.

According to the policy, a number of students will be selected at random each month to provide a urine sample. The names will be selected and the testing administered by an outside, independent agency. Students also may be tested if they are suspected of using drugs.

Also on the agenda is a vote to spend nearly $34,000 to remove and replace unsuitable soil at the district's track.
